Hand of Glory - Fragrance
The left hand of a hanged man.
Set alight, the fingers burn bright — five times five, your sins revive.
Man de gloire. Mandragora. Mandrake.
The Saxons believed the finger-like roots of the mandrake would glow at night, and from this belief grew one of the supernatural powers attributed to the cursed Hand of Glory.
Said to emit a gentle light, its nimble fingers could pick any lock, making it a coveted relic for footpads, cutpurses, and thieves of all kinds.
Despite its grim origins, the fragrance itself is unexpectedly warm and inviting — soft amber and smooth Egyptian musk glowing close to the skin, comforting rather than cruel. A relic that burns gently.
